Yesterday, JD shared a powerful message on forgiveness. Such a great reminder to us to pursue relational connection and love. ‘If you can create a life without offense Never picking up, simply stepping over And love forgiveness without defenses Then the kingdom will be yours forever
When we worship in the Presence of the King, what was meant for our demise becomes our breakthrough and upgrade as we're filled with supernatural faith for His promises.
We're pumped to celebrate the men and dads in our lives this weekend! Join us 9am, 11am for donuts and coffee on us! The dad of our house, JD, will be bringing the message. Don't miss it!
Join with us today as we declare this powerful psalm of safety and God's protection | I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God's help. But then I realize that our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. God is my keeper; He will never forget nor ignore me. He will never stumble or sleep; He is the Guardian-God for His people, Israel. Jehovah himself will watch over you; he's always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence. He's protecting you from all danger both day and night. He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continually watches over you. You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and he'll protect you forevermore. Psalm 121 TPT
The prophetic is a core value of ours here at GCC. We're passionate about people learning to hear the voice of God and being transformed by that same voice. If you're looking to grow in the prophetic, this 4 week class taught by @Maria Peralta and her team will take you to the next level. Register here:
No matter how easy it is for us to hear God's voice, we can always use more. Michael Miller gave us some great insight into growing in the prophetic. Michael's message from Sunday is available for download on the podcast. Head over to iTunes or the website (https://buff.ly/2z2ifwq) to take a listen.
We had a great time with Michael ('Hats') this weekend! Were you at one of our services (either Saturday night or Sunday morning) and responded to a word of knowledge and have a testimony you want to share? We'd love to hear what God did and continues to do! Send us a message or a comment below!
God calls us co-creators. Do you believe that? Our ability to create is an invitation for others to encounter the goodness and love of God. Creativity is art, it's painting, songwriting AND it's innovation, ideas, problem solving. It's the doctors who develop new ways to treat his patients, it's the social worker who discovers a creative way to meet the needs of their clients. We encourage you to shift your mindset and believe you ARE creative as a co-creator. We're called to be the solution because we know the One Who has the answers.
We look forward to every Sunday that we get to spend with you! Michael 'Hats' Miller will be staying on with us for our Sunday services. As always, our kids and youth with be diving into the Presence and learning more about what it looks like to be powerful sons and daughters of God. If you have kids, we invite you to bring them and worship alongside them at the 9am or bring them to Encounter Kids during the 11am service. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get them checked in!

Declare this with us today | 'Every place that I go Christ has gone before me and I rest in knowing He is always present with me and working out all things for my good. Even in the complexities of life, I know God is my resting place and here I find peace.'
Covenental Giving This week JD talked about Giving Mindset. He invited us into a mind-shift where instead of giving with an obligation-ridden formula, we give with a transformed heart. “God didn’t say Giving would be easy, He said it would be worth it.” JD Leman Message is now available on the podcast : iTunes and buff.ly/2Dbl8zl
God’s not really interested in you checking a box. He’s interesting in you asking in your heart how you can push the family forward.

His promises are so good! We’re meditating and holding on to this one today.
Engage in the quest: look at your God and give Him a name. Do you have God markers in your own life that will be passed down to your children and children’s children? Do you have your own monuments? Your own Baal-perazim? We need to mark our places of breakthrough with God. The places of breakthrough are just as important as the action of breakthrough. That sudden burst of acceleration isn’t more important than your incremental steps. Listen to JD's message from Sunday : https://buff.ly/2Dbl8zl
You are on a progressive journey partnering with thousands of years of tradition. You are experiencing God in your own quest to name the Uncreated One, to find the depths of His attributes. Words are limited and He is not limited by boundaries but we still need to give metaphor to the mystery. Names gives us a tangible piece we can hold on to. . Yesterday we finished up our Faces of God series. We hope you’ve enjoyed the art installation that went along with the teachings. We’re thankful to be a part of a creative community that is passionate about inviting people into an encounter with God. . Lion by Joanne Dusatko I am Loved by Anna Kus

We're excited about our art installation that corresponds with our 'Faces of God' series. Margaret Nagib painted this week's piece. Hear her vision behind the painting that fits so well with Trevor's message as he spoke on the Mother heart of God. . While “Shaddai” is translated as “Almighty” throughout the Old Testament, the consistency around the use of the full name “El Shaddai” is better communicated as “All Sufficient One.” The God who pours out, who heaps benefits upon, who sustains, satisfies, and nourishes, like a Mother. Instead of being afraid or suspicious of this language, we need an encounter with the Divine Feminine, a revelation of the Mother heart of God. Even the word Mercy in Hebrew is the same as the word Womb. This shows us the type of intimacy and connection found in God’s mercy is uniquely found in the place where a mother carries her child. It is a beautiful picture, and reveals more about our relationship with the Divine. Jesus speaks often about this intimacy and dependency. He speaks of living water, bread of life, vines and branches, and as a mother hen longing to gather her children. There is protection found in El Shaddai, a dependency that will lead to fruitfulness.
